Stepping out on a limb

Committed to developing our female membership base and offering networking opportunities, an elegant breakfast was held in the Ellis Rowan Room of The Australian Club, hosted by Susan Alberti AC.

RWB Founding Member, Stephanie Asher - writer, PR consultant and publisher – was asked to speak about her journey “living comfortably out on a limb”.  Stephanie shared her experiences of leaving a corporate career path in Melbourne to live on the Bellarine Peninsula, developing her business whilst running for Mayor of Geelong (twice) and standing for a Federal seat.

The value of this networking initiative is evident from the enthusiastic participation of our members in all our events. Genuinely supportive relationships are being formed, with engaged conversations and warm introductions leading the way to personal growth and new business opportunities.

Do not let fear stand in your way – there is no failure when you go out on a limb, you will only win or learn
